Sirocco Solarium

The Ultra-Pro Sirocco is a new addition to Drimee, designed to speed up the drying and cooling time with 6 state-of-the-art fans. They are fitted with therapeutic infra-red light which helps to increase the levels of Vitamin D whilst also warming and softening your horses muscles. A ten to fifteen minute session both before and after exercise can help to cut down on muscle strain and also reduce the build up of lactic acid after exercise. The fans are on a separate circuit to the lights which gives the option to use the unit to cool your horse on warmer days. The fans can be used with or without the lights on to obtain the best temperature required.

Light therapy, also known as photo-therapy uses a combination of super luminous (visible) and infra-red (invisible) light to treat damage to skin, as well as problems with muscles, tendons, bones and ligaments. The treatment works by stimulating the blood supply in the area, providing extra oxygen and nutrients to the damaged tissue, it also stimulates the lymphatic system, enabling waste products to be removed more quickly, reducing inflammation.

How should I fit my solarium?
It is universally recommended that you set the solarium 60cm/2 feet from the withers of your largest horse ON LOW HEAT, then increase the intensity to reach your smaller horses.
